Mary McGuckian (r) The Womens International Film & Television Showcase (TheWIFTS) will be presenting Irish filmmaker Mary McGuckian with the Career Achievement Award on December 4, 2009 at their 2nd annual Awards presentation. One of Irelands best kept secrets, Mary McGuckian has written, directed and produced five films in the last five years. Her Amorality comedy trilogy will be screened as part of TheWIFTS tribute to this talented innovative filmmaker at the New Beverly Cinema.
