Multnomah County plans 30 homes for 30 families in 30 days (The Oregonian)

More info…A new initiative intends to place 30 homeless families in apartments or houses in 30 days. The pilot program will provide financial rental assistance for six months, counseling and intervention with landlords to try to get families currently in shelters into homes and make room in shelters for 30 more families.
